Crockpot Steak Bites Recipe – Easy Dinner for Two in 30 Minutes

  • Author: Sofia Garcia
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

Savory, garlicky steak bites cooked in a crockpot for melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. This easy, high-protein, low-carb dinner for two is ready in just 30 minutes and requires minimal prep and cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: red chili flakes, sliced mushrooms, bell pepper chunks

Instructions

  1. Pat steak dry with paper towels and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add steak cubes to the crockpot and pour marinade mixture over the top. Toss lightly to coat each piece.
  4. Optional: Let steak sit in marinade for 10 minutes for extra flavor.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes. Stir after 20 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  6. Check doneness; cook an additional 5-10 minutes if you prefer steak bites more well-done.
  7. Stir in chopped parsley. Serve steak bites with a drizzle of sauce from the crockpot.
  8. Let crockpot cool before washing. Soak insert in warm water if sauce sticks.

Notes

Pat steak dry for best browning. Don’t overcrowd the crockpot; keep steak in a single layer. Taste and adjust seasoning after 20 minutes. For richer sauce, stir in extra butter before serving. Add mushrooms, peppers, or chili flakes for variations. Use gluten-free Worcestershire sauce if needed. For dairy-free, substitute plant-based butter or olive oil.
