Description
This Easy Frozen Fruit Salad is a refreshing and healthy treat perfect for hot summer days, packed with vibrant flavors and nutrients. It’s quick to prepare and customizable with your favorite fruits.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups mixed fruit (fresh or frozen)
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored)
Instructions
- Start by washing and prepping the fruit. If you’re using fresh fruit, chop it into bite-sized pieces. If you’re using frozen fruit, there’s no need to thaw it—just toss it in directly!
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed fruit, sliced banana, honey, and lime juice. Stir gently to coat all the fruit without mashing it.
- Add the yogurt to the mixture and fold it in gently. Make sure everything is well combined, but be careful not to break up the fruit too much.
- Transfer the fruit salad into a freezer-safe container, spreading it out evenly. Cover it tightly with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid. When you’re ready to enjoy, scoop out portions and let them sit for a few minutes to soften slightly before serving!
Notes
Feel free to customize with seasonal fruits or add nuts for extra texture.
